Xurong won Best Student Paper Award in ICASSP 2019
Xie Xurong, Ph.D. Candidate in our Lab, won Best Student Paper Award in ICASSP 2019, with his paper entitled "BLHUC: Bayesian Learning of Hidden Unit Contributions for Deep Neural Network Speaker Adaptation". This paper is co-authored by: Xunying Liu, Tan Lee, Shoukang Hu and Lan Wang. Congratulations to Xurong!.

Ng Si Ioi (Herman), FYP student and Jiang Yi, M.Sc. student of DSP-STL won a first-class award in Information Technology and the Innovation Award, with their project entitled "An Efficient Assessment Tool for Child Speech Disorders Based on Intelligent Speech Technology".
